Our mission is to bring Christ-centered speech and language services to children and their families. Mighty Kids Speech Services desires to serve and support families and their child’s unique speech and language skills while continuing to have the opportunity to experience private education. We offer partnerships with private schools and families to provide speech services on campus throughout the school day.

Hey there!

We are Rachel Polk and Katelyn Dean, speech language pathologist and owners of Mighty Kids Speech Services. We met at a local church and bonded immediately over our occupation, Speech-Language Pathology. Katelyn grew up in a local, Christian school, and Rachel, has her 2 children enrolled at a local, Christian school. The Lord began to open our eyes to the need of speech and language services for families who choose to send their children to private schools. We began to pray about how the Lord might use us to fill in this gap of services for these students and families and Mighty Kids Speech Services was created.

Our services are mobile; meaning, we come to your child’s school to provide speech and language services. This allows us to work together in collaboration with teachers and families who choose to attend private schools to best support your child’s speech and language skills.

FAQs

  • We are a privately paid service. However, we can provide you with a Superbill which can be submitted to your insurance provider.

  • A superbill provides a record of services that can be given to your insurance provider in order to be reimbursed for out-of-pocket services. We will provide you with important questions to ask your insurance provider in order to determine if and how much reimbursement you may receive.

  • Our services are provided on your child’s private school campus. We collaborate with your child’s school and teacher to determine the best time to provide therapy services.

  • We offer on campus screenings and/or evaluations that help identify speech and language areas of need.
